My Story
I'm a proud military wife, a mom of three, a crohn's and ibs sufferer and lover of all things Disney, living in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I first heard about Scentsy online in 2011. I enjoyed my candles but would always worry that they would be forgotten. I met my upline at a fall fair where she had a Scentsy display set up. I agreed to try a basket party. Sadly it generated no sales, and that stuck with me for a long time. The next spring a mom friend told me she was selling and I finally bought some warmers and scents! I was over the moon with my selections and loved that I could leave my warmer on all day and not have to worry about it. Time passed, baby number 3 arrived and I started to think about selling Scentsy more and more. Anyone who knows me, knows that I can sell just about anything like there's no tomorrow, so it seemed like a no brainer, right? No. I still sat on the decision. After talking to some consultants, past and present and weighing the pros and cons, and many long convos with my director I bit the bullet. At the very least I knew that I would enjoy buying what I was selling and if I make some extra funds in the process it would be a bonus! That brings me to today, when I finally signed up. I know this will be hard work, and hope that I can make a name for myself selling Scentsy. It's a company I love and believe in, and hope that my new venture will be amazing! After my first 70 days with Scentsy, I earned the Level 3 Scentsational Start. I sold over 5000 prv in my first 70 days. Only 3% of consultants accomplish this. As a thank you from the company i received a $240.00 product credit. It's wonderful seeing a company support its employees! In January i promoted to lead consultant with a small team beneath me. Without them as part of my journey I wouldn't be where I am now. A year into joining on September 30th I promoted to star consultant, November 30th I promoted to superstar consultant! January 2015, 16 months after joining Scentsy I earned my first all expenses paid trip with the company! A cruise to the carribbean, i get to check off serveral places on my bucket list: Saint Lucia and Saint Croix and more! Since September I've welcomed 6 new team members.....without them i wouldn't be where i am today. Their hard work, dedication and pushing me has made me want to go further than i had dreamed of with this company. I have travelled with some wonderful new Scentsy friends to Saint John for Spring Sprint twice(once during a state of emergency!). The new friends, and great memories were icing on the cake. It was an amazing atmosphere to be a part of. In July 2014 I travelld to Saint Louis for reunion, it was amazing. As a level 3 senstational start earner i got to walk the stage to be recognized for this. I also had an amazing time and was lucky enought to meet Heidi and Orville Thompson! The positive energy this company has given me has been a wonderful journey. I will be taking my first inncentive trip in June 2015. I never dreamed I would go this far, this was going to be a hobby to pay for my other hobby. Still don't think you can do this?
